An experienced Marketing Executive is needed to assist with the email marketing of the UKs largest independent online retailer of consumer electronics. As an Email Marketing Executive you will liaise between the Product Managers, external clients and Sales team in order to build and create effective email and other direct marketing campaigns to deliver sales growth for the business.
The successful candidate will join an exciting, vibrant and mixed team who take pride in their work. You will need to work well as part of a team as the email marketing and design teams work cohesively.
Key Responsibilities, Duties and Results:
In this role you will be expected to use your strong communication skills to establish productive working relationships with internal stakeholders. You will also be working alongside the client and your marketing colleagues to produce creative content, graphics, banners and links to enhance the effectiveness of B2B and B2C email marketing campaigns
You’ll create targeted campaigns with varying focus for different areas of the business, adjusting content, tone and graphics accordingly whilst maintaining brand message at all times.
You will use your customer insight, previous campaign success, annual calendar of events, seasonal opportunities and promotions to inform your campaign content.
As part of your role you will ensure marketing campaigns are driving sales, focusing on new customers, lapsed customers and existing customers to increase spend via the company website.
It is also paramount to maintain a consistent brand message across all campaigns whilst reporting on campaign effectiveness using Google Analytics.
You will also copy write enticing campaign content and sign off campaign copy & graphics with relevant internal and external contacts.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
You’ll work within the wider Marketing & Design team and also alongside colleagues across the business so strong communication skills and a good team ethic is essential for this role.
As well as having strong communication skills you should be self-motivated and able to work using your own initiative. The ability to make decisions and follow them through would be massively advantageous to your work.

To be successful in the role you will need experience using MailChimp or similar marketing platforms. Having experience with Adobe Suite, Google Analytics and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) is also required. Experience in a digital marketing role is desired, although not essential.
Any experience with HTML, CSS OR SQL would be hugely beneficial although not essential. There is the opportunity to learn or develop your skills in these areas if you’d like.
Due to the location access to your own transport is a must.
Salary and package;
- £22,000 – £25,000
- 20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, increasing with service
- Bonus scheme – roughly £500 a quarter depending on company performance
