Established 22 years ago our client is a leading player in business-to-business IT support and telecoms across Yorkshire and beyond. They have built up a vast client list, from SME’s through to large corporate. They are a Microsoft and HP partner.

We are working exclusively with this client to recruit their next superstar.

You will have a track record of working in ICT Support within a business or support organisation. They will be responsible for providing third line support for our many and varied clients throughout the Yorkshire area. Our clients’ customers count on them to keep their infrastructure and operations flowing.

Your responsibilities include

  • 3rd line support of Server related incidents within agreed SLA’s.
  • Ensuring all incidents are regularly updated, accurate and timely. Escalating incidents when required.
  • Perform systems administration activities, such as performance tuning and data management.
  • Monitoring and reviewing quality of service delivered.
  • Interfacing directly with all service delivery teams on site.
  • Creation, update and maintenance of the technical knowledge base and documentation.
  • Providing technical support and mentoring to other members of the team.
  • Operating within agreed security frameworks.
  • Maintaining technical qualifications and skill sets.
  • Perform upgrades to and installations of new servers.
  • Citrix & Windows system set up and administration.
  • Customer Service skills applied to difficult users.
  • On call responsibilities within a pressurised support environment.
  • Solo site attendance for problem resolution.
  • Implementation of a scheduled program of patching & firmware/software upgrades.
